Jeni Elam Talks Board Diversity in Seattle

BoardReady’s Expansion Director, Jeni Elam, spoke at a panel hosted by the Puget Sound Business Journal last week. The topic was board diversity and her fellow panelists included Hope Cochran, of Madrona Adventure Group, Sarah Imbach, an angel investor and start-up advisor, and Susan Mask, board chair of the Seattle Women’s Hospital.

The Panel discussed some of the obstacles that women face to gaining representation in the boardroom, the evident change that’s occurred in the last few decades, and the numerous economic benefits of board diversity.
